September Hope Report

Oct 11, 2020 | Native Hope

All relatives living on Unci Maka (Grandmother Earth) continue to endure the effects of COVID-19. On reservations, many do so on slim resources. We continue to assist those in need with groceries, cleaning supplies, masks, snacks, and more because of our generous donors and supporters. When partners from communities reach out to us with requests, it is our goal to respond to their needs as quickly as possible. The month of September was no exception as our communities experienced a spike in COVID cases in mid-September.

As Unci Maka changes her colors this fall, our relatives face shorter days, longer nights, and colder weather. Our Back to Basics program will be more critical than ever. Cold weather gear, blankets, and heating assistance will be vital. Your continued support means we can help families in need.

Wóphila Tȟáŋka for keeping Native Hope and those we serve in your heart and continuing your support.

Together we are making a difference in Indian Country.
